10 YEARS IN THE TRADE.
BUILT TO LAST.
I didn’t grow up dreaming about concrete. Right after graduating Chino Valley High School in 2014, I just knew I wanted to work and make money. My dad had a connection with a supervisor at a construction company in Prescott — that’s how I got my start as a concrete contractor in Chino Valley AZ.
I went in knowing nothing. Zero experience. Even my foreman told me, “Are you sure you want to do concrete? It’s one of the hardest trades out there.” I decided to give it a shot anyway.
What started as “just trying it out” turned into something I took real pride in. I learned the trade from the ground up — labor, forming, rebar, finishing. Over time, I worked my way from laborer to carpenter, to finisher, to foreman. I ran crews for four years — residential, commercial foundations, big apartment complexes, huge developments right here in Prescott, Chino Valley, and Prescott Valley.
In 2022, I got my ROC license and started Platinum Concrete Works. This is where it’s led me — and we’re just getting started.
